Cheong Xin Ying graduated with a Ba(Hons) Music degree at the School of Contemporary Music, LASALLE College of the Arts. She majors in Electronic Music, and has performance experiences in cello and piano, and has achieved the ABRSM Cello Grade 7 and ABRSM Piano Grade 8.

 Xin Ying is inspired by various genres of music, currently composing instrumental music using music softwares. She has experiences in composing music for films, doing sound design and audio-visuals project. With great interest in exploring different kinds of music, she is keen in doing collaborations as a performer and composer.
